Ash & Oath is a music project inspired by the real experiences, struggles, sacrifices, and healing journeys of military veterans. Created to give voice to stories that are often carried silently, each song reflects the emotional reality of life after service. Seventy percent of net proceeds support the mission of After the Action Healing Foundation, helping provide free trauma-informed clinical hypnotherapy and healing resources to eligible military veterans.
Every song begins with a conversation. Every lyric comes from the experiences of veterans who sat across from me and shared the battles they continued fighting long after they returned home.
The war may end when a service member leaves the battlefield, but for many veterans, the hardest battles begin afterward. The memories, the losses, the survivor’s guilt, the changes in identity, the struggle to reconnect with family, and the search for purpose are battles that many carry silently.
Ash & Oath was created to bring those stories into the light.
These songs are not about glorifying war. They are about honoring the people who lived through it. They are about the brothers and sisters who came home carrying invisible wounds and the families who walk beside them.
Every song on this album represents a story I heard during a veteran’s healing journey. The names and details may change, but the emotions are real: the weight of survival, the pain of loss, the courage to keep going, and the hope that healing is possible.
Ash & Oath exists to remind veterans that their story matters, their sacrifice is remembered, and they do not have to face the aftermath alone.
The battle may have ended.
But the healing has to continue...
Ash & Oath is their story.
Their sacrifice.
Their journey home!
